Traffic-light audio
system for blind people
It gives out the
acoustic signal in accordance with the highway code; a voice announces
the different positions of the lights (green or yellow) and the name
of the street .
A remote control or a
button placed on the traffic-light post starts the audio system; the
volume is adjusted according to the traffic noise; to reduce the noise
pollution, no signal is given out if there is no request. |
